There is no maximum. You can schedule a message to unlock next week, on a 50th wedding anniversary decades from now, or for a great-grandchild who hasn't been born yet. MyLegacySpace stores scheduled messages indefinitely on active accounts.

Can I record video messages, or only written ones?

Both. You can record video directly in your browser, upload existing videos, record audio-only messages, or simply write text. You can also attach photos and documents to any message. Use whichever format feels most natural for what you want to say.

What unlock triggers are available?

You can choose a specific calendar date, a recipient's milestone age (such as "when she turns 16"), a family event like a wedding or graduation, or a death-triggered unlock that releases the message after your passing is verified by a trusted contact you designate.

Can I edit a message after I've scheduled it?

Yes. Until a message unlocks, you can edit the content, change the recipient, or change the unlock condition at any time from your account. Once a message unlocks, it's delivered and becomes read-only — just like a letter that's already been opened.

How many future messages can I create?

The Free plan includes 5 lifetime future messages. The Family plan ($4.99/month) includes 10 per month. Legacy Pro ($9.99/month) includes 20 per month. Messages already scheduled never expire and never count against a new month's allowance.

What happens to scheduled messages if I cancel my subscription?

Scheduled messages remain safely stored on our servers. If you downgrade to Free, you keep access to your existing messages — you just can't create more than the Free plan limit. Messages scheduled during an active paid plan stay scheduled and will still unlock on their chosen date.
